step 1: make the appointment.

step 2: breathe, relax and leave your stress on the table.

  • Since changing my booking platform, things have become a bit more streamlined. Now, when you book online, you will use a credit card to hold your appointment (no more paying half and having to remember there is a balance due). You will not be charged up front for anything. If you miss your appointment, you will be charged as per the cancellation policy. Once your appointment is over you will have the option of charging the card on file that you booked with, or you can choose another payment method.

Clients have frequently asked me how they can leave gratuity since these changes have been made. So, let’s talk about it.

Gratuity is a wonderful thing that comes in many forms. Some of my clients immediately book their next appointment before they leave. Sometimes I get homemade treats or little gifts from their travels. A nice review or referral is always appreciated and helpful. Sometimes it is a hug or a simple “Thank You”. And of course, you can always leave money. Venmo, PayPal, cash…whatever is a good option for you. Yes, there is a tipping option when you pay with a card. If that is how you would like to show your gratitude, please let me know before I charge your card. I will never prompt you to leave anything, there will be no “just a few more questions for you on the screen” from me. If you ask, I will give you options, if not, I will say thank you for coming and hope to see you real soon.

I appreciate all of my clients. Some I see weekly and some yearly. You are all important to me and I thank you for trusting and choosing me. Now go book your next appointment!

  • Cornell University conducted a study that used university students (who are notoriously stressed) as subjects found that petting cats and dogs for 10 minutes decreased the amount of cortisol (a stress hormone) in their saliva. These findings are consistent with the notion that interacting with cats and dogs decreases stress.

  • Just to refresh everyone on my cancellation and no show policy. This is for all clients.

When you book an appointment with me you will first be shown the cancellation policy and then you will receive a notification that allows you to confirm, cancel or reschedule your appointment after you have booked. I will see if you have confirmed.

If you are booking via classpass please understand that you are not booking through my platform. Classpass has their own policy and I have nothing to do with that. If you miss your classpass appointment you will lose your credit on classpass. If I have to cancel you for any reason, you will keep your credit.

Please understand that I am always at the office 30 minutes before every appointment. I use this time to ensure everything is ready and comfortable for you as well as meditation and a series of stretches and hand warm ups so that I am prepared to do my best for you. I have to wait until 10 minutes after your appointment time before I can say you are not showing up. That means I have already dedicated at least 40 minutes to your appointment. It also means that I do not have enough time to let someone from my wait-list take that appointment slot. If I can get you in later that day I will do my best. If you have to come in on a different day you will be booked and charged for a whole new appointment.

If you are from Dallas, you probably know about the Monk Parakeets that live at White Rock lake. Did you know that there is a colony of them right here at the Knox/Henderson intersection?

They are always a highlight of my day. Next time you are coming or going from your appointment, see if you can spot them. They stop in the trees across the street daily. Sometimes they are just perching on the wires quietly above you.
