step 1: make the appointment.
step 2: breathe, relax and leave your stress on the table.
Cornell University conducted a study that used university students (who are notoriously stressed) as subjects found that petting cats and dogs for 10 minutes decreased the amount of cortisol (a stress hormone) in their saliva. These findings are consistent with the notion that interacting with cats and dogs decreases stress.

Just to refresh everyone on my cancellation and no show policy. This is for all clients.
When you book an appointment with me you will first be shown the cancellation policy and then you will receive a notification that allows you to confirm, cancel or reschedule your appointment after you have booked. I will see if you have confirmed.
If you are booking via classpass please understand that you are not booking through my platform. Classpass has their own policy and I have nothing to do with that. If you miss your classpass appointment you will lose your credit on classpass. If I have to cancel you for any reason, you will keep your credit.
Please understand that I am always at the office 30 minutes before every appointment. I use this time to ensure everything is ready and comfortable for you as well as meditation and a series of stretches and hand warm ups so that I am prepared to do my best for you. I have to wait until 10 minutes after your appointment time before I can say you are not showing up. That means I have already dedicated at least 40 minutes to your appointment. It also means that I do not have enough time to let someone from my wait-list take that appointment slot. If I can get you in later that day I will do my best. If you have to come in on a different day you will be booked and charged for a whole new appointment.
If you are from Dallas, you probably know about the Monk Parakeets that live at White Rock lake. Did you know that there is a colony of them right here at the Knox/Henderson intersection?
They are always a highlight of my day. Next time you are coming or going from your appointment, see if you can spot them. They stop in the trees across the street daily. Sometimes they are just perching on the wires quietly above you.
